I’m Alston B. Calderon — decorated combat U.S. Air Force veteran, former firefighter/paramedic, and founder of Calderon Medicine Concierge Mental Health, a virtual concierge practice specializing in metabolic psychiatry across Florida.
After 13 years of honorable service, including deployments to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, I transitioned from treating trauma on the battlefield to treating the root causes of mental health in a new way. My military background, combined with advanced training at Florida State University College of Medicine (Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice, 2026), taught me that real healing requires addressing inflammation, nutrition, lifestyle, and metabolic dysfunction — not just symptoms.
Today I deliver direct-access, same-week virtual metabolic psychiatry for patients who want more than the standard pill-for-every-ill approach. The same discipline that drove me to restore a 1956 Chris Craft mahogany boat named Limitless now powers my work helping patients reclaim their mental and physical health.
